Monogatari Saketen is :

It’ s not fast or easy – or cheap – to visit many Sake breweries in Japan. Of course, you can buy national brands at many shops in Tokyo.
However, Sake brewers’ stories (“monogatari”) cannot be communicated that way.
The scenery of that Sake’ s birthplace cannot be imagined. The dialect and atmosphere of the region cannot be appreciated.
To drink Sake in the most tasteful manner is to drink it in its birthplace, communicating with the people, enjoying the scenery and feeling the atmosphere. We cannot offer Sake to our customers without experiencing these stories ourselves.
Monogatari Saketen does not sell well-known Sakes; we find and introduce “undiscovered” Sakes, which have been loved for ages in various parts of Japan.
Even if you do not buy Sake from us – if you happen to visit a Sake bar offering a Sake introduced by Monogatari Saketen, please enjoy it there.
